If your medical need is something that can be readily diagnosed in a visual format (ie rashes, conjunctivitis, mild allergic reactions, baby feeding issues) then we can schedule a telemedicine consultation at a regular appointment time.


Some patients may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for telemedicine.  Call 02 9328 7766 or email info@woollahradoctors.com to schedule a consultation.


How to Attend a Video Consultation

When making an appointment, please inform the Reception staff whether you have a valid Medicare card. Payment will be taken before the appointment. After an Appointment has been made, you will receive a reminder for your upcoming consultation. 


When you finished your telehealth with doctor, If you require a prescription/ referral/ medical certificate, please email your name, DOB and mobile with your email to info@woollahradoctors.com. This will allow our receptionists to electronically send you the documents shortly after.


Please note that

  • We do escripts where we will send your prescription to your phone to show to your dispensing Pharmacist of choice.
  • During our consultation we will conduct a phone or video consultation via your computer, tablet or mobile phone.
  • Be sure your internet connection is stable and avoid moving if using a mobile. 


5 Minutes Before the Meeting Time

  • Download the Video Conference Application from Whatsapp/ Facetime
  • Open the App and familiarise yourself with how the application works,
  • Test your microphone as this is how we will talk.

 

At the Time of the Meeting

At the time of your meeting, wait  for a call from the practice at the agreed time.
