Dr Michael Wright

Dr Michael Wright is a second-generation GP with over 25 years of clinical experience. He enjoys treating patients of all ages with a particular passion for helping people recover from illness and maintain a healthy lifestyle through prevention.

In addition to his work at Woollahra Doctors, Dr Wright is the National President of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and was previously the Chief Medical Officer of Avant Mutual, and Chair of Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network. 

Dr Wright also has qualifications in public health and health economics and is an Associate Professor at the International Centre for Future Health Systems at the University of New South Wales.
